Watch the Video

Check back soon to watch an informative video about the polluting of Clear Lake and what we can do to save it.

Our vision is to create a powerful documentary that will tell the incredible story of this lake and its people. Clear Lake is one of the oldest lakes in North America, and has been called home by Native Americans for approximately 10,000 years. The lake also provides an abundant supply of blue-green algae, which is one of the oldest and simplest food sources in the world and is valued in holistic communities for its health-giving properties. In addition to this incredible history, there are more tragic recent events, like the mercury mining at the Sulphur Bank Mercury Mine and its devestating effects on the lake, its populations - both human and animl, and the surrounding waterways. Will future historians continue to write about the admirable history of the lake, or will history books only document another American Tragedy like the flooding of New Orleans or the terror of September 11?

In order to produce this powerful documentary, we must first raise funds for the production. Our goal is to raise $250,000. If the plight of Clear Lake and its people inspires you, we invite you to donate funds towards this worthy cause. Further information about making your donation can be found on the Contact Us page.
